Carrier Preselection (CPS)
Our service starts once your outgoing call reaches your local BT
switch. We arrange a standing instruction on the BT switch under
which BT route all calls to us by default. You are still able to
prefix the digits of another carrier should you wish, and such a
positive selection by you over-rides the CPS instruction we place
on the BT switch. The net effect is that we take the call charges
off the BT bill, giving you savings in the process. We do not in
any way affect the way you use the phone on your premises. And
neither are we involved in incoming calls, which continue to be
delivered to you in the usual way.
